Fundraising Manager

Primrose Hospice provides exceptional care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses in the Redditch and Bromsgrove area. We are looking for an experienced Fundraising Manager to lead our small and effective fundraising team.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, creative and enthusiastic, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a fundraising role. The Fundraising Manager must have experience using Donorflex / other CRM software, advanced level general IT skills, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), superior attention to detail, organisational and planning skills (including events), as well as maintaining total honesty and integrity.

The successful applicant will be confident, pro-active, experienced in fundraising, (preferably within the charity sector), responsible for preparing and meeting the Hospice’s fundraising income targets and focused on helping the organisation function effectively and efficiently.

The Fundraising Manager is a key role within the Hospice, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, and is a member of the Senior Management Team. Day Hospice Staff Nurse

  • Day Hospice Staff Nurse 22.5 hours per week over 3 days

(currently Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) – Permanent

Due to the retirement of a valued member of our nursing team we are looking to recruit a Day Hospice Staff Nurse who wants to make a difference to our community.

Based in Bromsgrove and serving North-East Worcestershire, Primrose Hospice provides compassionate care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and support for their family.

We currently provide a Day Hospice, nurse led clinics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, spiritual support as well as a thriving well-being service and complementary therapies. This care is supported by our Family Support Team.

As well as offering competitive salaries, we support continuing contributions to the NHS pension scheme, offer a package of employee support and development, flexible working opportunities, free onsite parking and free refreshments.

No weekend work is required although staff are encouraged to support our wonderful fundraising events where possible.

This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to people and their families at a difficult time in their lives.

The ideal candidates will have experience of working in end-of-life care within an acute or palliative care setting, although this experience is not essential, it is preferred; training and support will be given.

The successful candidates must hold a first level registration in General Nursing (RN) within the UK as well as a current, valid PIN. They must be a keen team player with good interpersonal and communication skills who believe that working with people in the last years of life is a privilege.
