Could you volunteer for Primrose Hospice? Whether you could spare minutes or hours, days or weeks, you could make a meaningful difference to enable us to continue to offer the services that we do to support patients and families that are affected by a life-limiting illness.

Current Volunteer Vacancies:

• Shop Volunteers: We are looking for volunteers across all five of our shops, in a variety of roles – find out where our shops are located here.
• Drivers – Bringing patients to the hospice and returning them home again, enabling patients to attend who would otherwise be unable to come. Also driving patients to and from the hospice for outpatient appointments, counselling and complementary therapy.
• Wellbeing: Our wellbeing support service are looking for new volunteers to help support existing groups and new groups. Your role would be a supporting an individual leading the sessions; unless you have a particular interest or skill which you would be prepared to lead a session on.
• Complementary Therapists: We are looking for qualified therapists to provide a range of therapies including reflexology, Reiki, massage, acupuncture, hypnotherapy and more to patients and families who we support.
• Family Support: Our Family Support volunteers provide emotional support to patients, their families and friends who are experiencing a life-limiting illness or after bereavement.
• Volunteers to support Children & Young People: We are looking for volunteers to support our group sessions for children & young people throughout the school holidays and the occasional late afternoon/evening sessions. Our group sessions support children & young people who are bereaved or who have a loved one living with a life-limiting illness.
• Counsellors: Qualified counsellors to offer one to one support to patients and their families at the hospice.
