Primrose Hospice COVID-19 Update

On the 8th December 2021 the government announced that England will move to Plan B in response to the risks of the Omicron variant. We would like to reassure you that here at Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre we are taking all the recommended precautions around keeping all our patients, families, volunteers, supporters and staff safe.

Primrose Hospice services:

We will still be running our services including: Day Therapies, Wellbeing Service, Group Support and our Family support service as normal. The use of social distancing and wearing a face mask whilst moving around our buildings will be in place.

Regular testing:

All of our staff are testing regularly using both lateral flow tests and PCR tests.

Visiting Primrose Hospice:

We ask that anyone that is visiting Primrose Hospice if you are able, to take a lateral flow test before you arrive on site. Anyone with symptoms that could be Covid must not attend the Hospice.

Our charity shops:

Our charity shops are still open and welcoming customers. From 30 November 2021, there are some places where you must wear a face covering by law, unless you are exempt. We would like to remind you to wear a mask in our charity shops unless you are exempt. Thank you.

Fundraising events:

Our pop-up Christmas wrapping service will be at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch from 13th – 18th. All our staff and volunteers will be adhering to social distancing and we will have PPE available.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our local community for their continued support, without you we couldn’t continue to provide our services to people living with life-limiting illnesses and families in North East Worcestershire.
