New Sofa Donation Boosts Primrose Hospice Support

Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre were recently pleased to receive a generous donation of brand new sofas from Kingswood Mobility Group, the parent company of Willowbrook.

The sofas will go on to be sold to help raise vital funds for local patients living with life-limiting illnesses and families in need.

The latest donation continues a long-standing partnership between Primrose Hospice and Kingswood Mobility Group, which began in 2020. Over the past six years, they have donated approximately 40 brand-new sofas, all of which have been sold through Primrose’s Headless Cross and Bromsgrove Home stores.

Ian McRoy, Retail Manager at Primrose Hospice said: “Primrose Hospice Retail would like to say a huge thank you Kingswood Mobility Group for their recent donation of brand-new sofas.

The sofas which have been donated will not only help patients and families in our community but also provide new furniture for homes throughout our local area.”

Jeremy Rolph, CEO of Kingswood Mobility Group, also shared his support: We’re incredibly proud to support Primrose Hospice with ongoing furniture donations. The work they do for patients and families in our community is truly inspiring, and if our furniture can either help create a more comfortable, welcoming environment during such an important time, or be used to help generate additional donations to the hospice, then we’re honoured to play a small part.”

Primrose Hospice supports around 1,000 people each year through its clinical and family support services, all provided free of charge. Contributions from local businesses play a critical role in enabling the hospice to continue offering this vital care.
