This #HospiceCareWeek we are shining a light on the huge variety of support hospices offer by sharing Brian’s story.

“If there’s one thing I want to do, it’s to actually say to people, don’t give up. Yeah, there will be times when you feel terrible, times when you feel you can’t go on. But actually, you’ve got to say, I’m doing the best I can, and that’s what I am doing as my reason for being at Primrose.”

Brian came to Primrose Hospice after his wife sadly died. Needing some bereavement support after an overwhelming feeling of guilt, he joined our cook n share group.

Through the group, he made new friends with like-minded people who understood what he was going through.
