Lights of Love donations raises over £30k for Primrose Hospice
We’re really pleased to say that our Lights of Love 2021 campaign has raised over £30,000 with donations still kindly being received.
This annual campaign is a special way for our community – whether that be local or further afield to remember their loved ones at Christmas and all year round.
We were really pleased to be able to safely bring our community together for three Lights of Love services around Bromsgrove and Redditch. As well as invite people to view their loved one’s names around the beautiful Christmas Tree outside ASDA in Bromsgrove.
Rebecca Stone our Fundraising Manager said: “After us all experiencing the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic it was lovely to be able to bring our community together to remember our loved ones over the festive period.
On behalf of Primrose Hospice and Family support centre, I would like to thank everyone who donated to our campaign, your donations will help us to support more people living with life-limiting illnesses across Northeast Worcestershire.”
It costs us £3500 to run Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre for one day. So the money raised through our Lights of Love campaign will go along way for us to provide much-needed support to people living with life-limiting illnesses and families in our community.
Look out for our Lights of Love campaign 2022 later in the year as well as lots of other exciting events throughout the year. View our events calendar here.
