A new venture for Primrose Hospice

On Thursday 12th September at 10am Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre will be opening our new charity shop located at 76 High Street, B61 8EX.

We are encouraging customers, friends and family to join us in officially opening their newest retail venture.

Deborah Wall, Manager for the new Primrose Hospice shop said: “We are hoping to see lots of new and familiar faces at the opening of our new Bromsgrove shop. Our charity shops provide over 27% of the £1.95 million we need to raise every year to continue supporting our patients and families, so it’s really important that we continue developing our retail shops.

We are so grateful to all our volunteers and everyone who donates and shops in our six charity shops; we’d love to see you all at our grand opening!

Our new charity shop will be selling a huge variety of pre-loved furniture, homeware, clothes, bric-a-brac and books, which will not only reduce the amount of products that go to landfill, but also raise vital funds for your local hospice.

It is estimated that around £140 million worth of clothing goes to landfill in the UK every year. The Primrose Hospice shops are aiming to reduce this statistic, so if you are having a clear-out, please consider donating your pre-loved items to our new shop.

If you’d like to donate pre-loved items please call: 01527 598644

We need more people like you to join our shops volunteer team! We have a huge variety of flexible roles within our shops, helping with things like:

  • Helping customers with their purchases
  • Sorting and pricing clothing
  • Steaming clothing
  • Sorting book donations
  • Sorting antique and vintage items
  • and much more to suit you!

Please note our existing Bromsgrove Shop will continue to be open as normal, alongside our new shop.
