Dawn White – Head of Clinical Services

I have been working at Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre since January 2022 as the Head of Clinical Services.

My role involves supporting patients clinically and emotionally and ensuring their wishes enable them have a smooth journey for what is the most difficult time of their lives. It is also my responsibility as the registered manager to ensure Primrose Hospice is a safe, caring, responsive, effective and a well led organisation.

Before coming to Primrose Hospice, I worked in the NHS for 33 years as a clinician. I have worked in both the Acute and Primary settings within Worcestershire, but predominantly within the community as a community nurse, then a Team Lead for the Enhanced Care Team. I moved to Dudley Foundation Trust to work as an Operational Manager for a Community Clinical Hub for a couple of years and then decided to come back to the area I know well.

Fate sent me to Primrose Hospice and I am pleased it did, I am immensely proud of the services we provide here, and the difference we make to patients and their families that use our services at the most difficult time of their lives.
