Pie Splat Fun for Primrose Yellow Week!

Every year the community of Bromsgrove and Redditch help to fundraise and paint the town Yellow during Primrose Hospice’s YELLOW WEEK. This year was no different. In June we saw lots of fundraisers getting involved doing everything from pie splatting to running races.

From the incredible support of our community over £9500 was raised through Yellow Week for Primrose Hospice. Primrose Patron and MP for Bromsgrove Sajid Javid got involved by running 10K and employees had fun by taking part in a sponsored pie splatting of Chief Executive of Bromsgrove and Redditch District Council Kevin Dicks!

Our six shops across North East Worcestershire got involved by beautifully decorating their window displays for the week and encouraging the public to do their own fundraising.

Rod Laight, Chairman of Primrose Hospice said: “Every year we are so grateful to the individuals and businesses of Bromsgrove and Redditch for showing their continued support throughout Yellow Week and our other events. This year’s Yellow Week was made particularly fun when I got to pie splat the Chief Executive of Bromsgrove & Redditch District Council!”

We would like to thank everyone that was involved with YELLOW WEEK from the businesses that got involved to the staff and volunteers at Primrose who donned their best yellow outfits during the week.

We have plenty more fundraising events going on throughout the year so keep an eye on our events calendar to be kept up to date! ?? https://primrosehospice.org/support-us/events-calendar/
