Corporate Challenge launched at The Orangery
AN AFTERNOON reception helped to launch Primrose Hospice’s Corporate Challenge at The Orangery in Ipsley on Monday.
Staff from businesses across Bromsgrove and Redditch met their competitors and listened to inspiring speeches from Primrose Hospice’s COO Angélique Dalton and social media expert James Vincent from Hot Source Creative.
The teams will now compete to raise the most money to help people with life-limiting illnesses after being given a £50 starter grant.
They have 80 days to get creative with their fundraising and a leader-board will be released every two weeks sharing who is in the lead for the competition.
Primrose Hospice’s third annual ball will be held at the Chateau Impney Hotel, entertaining up to 500 guests with a night of food and amazing entertainment.
Amy Flemming, fundraiser at Primrose Hospice said: “We know that the businesses who are taking part have some incredible ideas to turn their £50 starter grant into a bigger donation for the hospice.
“It’s going to be great to see what they get up to and I know they will all enjoy the good-natured competitive spirit of the challenge.
“Behind it all is the chance to raise funds for their local hospice and we know the thought of keeping our services free for those who need it will be the real driving force behind them wanting to make as much money as possible.
“A big thank you to everyone taking part.”
She added that anyone considering raising money for Primrose Hospice can get in touch with the Fundraising Team for advice, information and support.
