Bromsgrove Prep Pupils’ Flourishing Fundraising for Primrose Hospice!

We’re excited to say Year 7 pupils from Bromsgrove Prep have been working hard before Christmas through our Flourishing Fivers initiative and have raised a huge £8672.96!

Through their PHSE lessons they have raised funds for Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre by selling colourful origami windmills, knitted hats, scarves and cats and having fun with sponge splatting and sponsored events! Iseoluwa O was their top fundraiser, whose sponsored event raised over £1000!

Olivia Tomkinson, Community Fundraiser at Primrose Hospice said: “Flourishing Fivers is a great project for children and young people to get involved with to develop their confidence and creativity all whilst raising vital funds for their local hospice.

We would like to thank all the children, families and teachers involved from Bromsgrove Prep School for the fantastic amount they have raised.”

Flourishing Fivers is a great fundraising opportunity for local school students to take part in a business type challenge all whilst helping to raise funds for Primrose Hospice. It encourages creativity and professionalism, as well as establishing a sense of social responsibility and awareness.

Each student is given £5.00 which they then have to make “grow”. How each student does this is their choice, whether they group together and combine their starting funds or want to go it alone, it is their choice.
