Thank you to everyone who dedicated their time to fundraising and came along to our events throughout June and July.

Our calendar was packed full of fantastic events with more still to come throughout the rest of the Summer!

Yellow Week:

Between 5^th-11th June we held our annual fundraising YELLOW WEEK where we asked our wonderful community of supporters to hold fundraising events to raise money for Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre. We are SO pleased to tell you that you all raised over £4,500 with more donations still coming in!

Lucy Perkins, Fundraiser and Yellow Week organiser said: “Thank you to each and every person who took part in Yellow Week 2023, whether you donated £1 or £100 every penny counts towards the £1.95 million we have to raise every year. It was amazing to see our community coming together to celebrate during Yellow Week raising not only funds but vital awareness for Primrose Hospice.”

We saw swish parties, running challenges, bake sales, plant sales, dress up days and much more. Thank you to each and every person who dressed up, ran, sang, baked and raised funds during YELLOW WEEK! The money you’ve raised will be vital so that our teams can continue ensuring every person in North East Worcestershire gets the care and support they need.

Danceathon:

Did you join us for our Primrose DANCEATHON 2023? We are pleased to tell you that all your dance moves raised £728.25!

We would like to say a big thank you to:

• All our dance instructors who gave their time freely to support us
• Our volunteers on the day
• Bromsgrove Sport and Leisure Centre
• and of course all our supporters who came along on the day!

Gabby Haines, Fundraiser and Yellow Week organiser said: “Our Danceathon has grown since it started in 2022 and we were so pleased to see 40 smiling faces strutting their stuff to support Primrose Hospice. We are looking forward to seeing this event grow year on year – who doesn’t love a boogie!”

Summer Fayre:

Hundreds of you joined us on Saturday 1^st July to celebrate the start of the summer. The weather was on our side and we are delighted to tell you our Summer Fayre raised £3165!

We would like to thank all our volunteers and everyone that came along on the day – without you this event wouldn’t have happened!

Our Summer Fayre is a special event for us as it is an opportunity to show our community where our vital care and support happens throughout the year. We have to raise £1.95 million every year to provide our support for free to and without events like this we wouldn’t be able to continue providing that support so THANK YOU!

Orchardfest:
