Rod has been a trustee of Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre since 2016 and Chairman of the board from 2018, he steered the organisation through the Covid pandemic, ensuring services were maintained safely during this time and that the charity emerged as a viable and improved organisation that could continue serving the local population. He has inspired his fellow Trustees and the Senior Leadership team at the Hospice to be bold and lead the way in improving end of life care and family support locally.

Rod is a local businessman and extremely well connected across Worcestershire. He has supported local causes and charities over many years. Until recently he was a local councillor and chair of Bromsgrove District Council. Rod has a passion for Hospice care borne from his personal experiences.
