Owen has many years of knowledge working in engineering after gaining a first-class honours degree in mechanical design engineering from the University of Glasgow. He has previous experience working in the management of an international engineering company.

Unfortunately, he stopped working when his health declined. Both Owen and his family have received various support over many years from Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre.  

Due to Owen receiving support from Primrose, he wanted to become a trustee to give back and offer views from a patient perspective.
