Kimara joined the Board of Trustees in February 2024. She brings with her 40 years of working in the NHS, latterly as the Company Secretary for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. She is also a Trustee of Age UK Bromsgrove Redditch and Wyre Forest.

Kimara says: “I have been a volunteer for a number of years and am delighted to be joining the Board. I have friends who have had personal experience of the services at Primrose and am pleased to be supporting such a vital charity for the people of North East Worcestershire.”

As well as being a volunteer within the shops at Primrose, she is vice chair of the Patient and Public Forum at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and is an active supporter of Artrix, undertaking bar work and working with the trustees. She lives locally with her husband of 30 years.
