Volunteering and Donating to our Shops
Through your business supporting us, you will make a significant contribution to our work supporting patients with life-limiting illnesses and families, providing them with the care and support they need during difficult times.
As well as supporting us, we will work to provide you with a bespoke, two-way partnership that will benefit not only Primrose but your staff and business too. At Primrose, we have a wealth of experience of managing partnerships that have created meaningful change.
Volunteering with work colleagues, through a dedicated corporate volunteering day or on a more regular basis, helps to bring employees together, feel inspired and provides excellent opportunities for team building. Corporate volunteering also provides big benefits to your business, which includes giving your time to support the local community and promoting your brand.

Another way of supporting Primrose is through donating good quality items to be sold in our shops. It could be that you organise your office or team to do a charity shop collection of unwanted items. Every item donated will help us raise funds towards running our services.
Our shops are carefully stocked with a range of donated goods including clothing, accessories, decorative items and furniture. We accept good quality pre-loved clothing, shoes, household items and entertainment such as books, computer games etc. If you have questions about donations, you can contact your nearest charity shops by clicking here.
We welcome good quality furniture donations at our Headless Cross shop (B97 5EN) and Bromsgrove Home and Donation Centre (B61 8EX) and dependant on your location we can arrange collections, but kindly ask that you email furniture@primrosehospice.org with a photo of your item, your name, address and contact number. All items with cloth seats e.g. sofas, single chairs, recliner chairs, dining chairs etc must have fire labels attached. Unfortunately if these items don’t have a fire label we aren’t able to accept them.
