Meet Bumble Hole Foods…

“Having visited Primrose Hospice we are aware of the lack of funding the hospice gets from the NHS, and how important the care is for the community. Without the care, a lot of families wouldn’t have that support and that includes not only the physical support, also the emotional and psychological support that the hospice gives families.”– Andrew Hewston – Bumble Hole Foods

Have you ever been to one of our fundraising events? You may have seen us talking about local corporate companies, who often sponsor our events.

Without their support we couldn’t go ahead with these events, meaning our Santas couldn’t run, there would be no dancing at Orchardfest and your Christmas tree would sit on your drive waiting to be collected all January long.

Bumble Hole Foods are a Bromsgrove based egg products company who have supported Primrose Hospice in a huge variety of ways and contribute to  our fantastic team of Primrose People. For the second year running they are sponsoring our TREECYCLE campaign in January 2024 and we can’t wait to welcome them into our team of elves who will be out collecting your trees.

We recently spoke to Andrew and Sharon from Bumble Hole Foods to find out a bit more about them and why they support Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre.

“Our family have always been embedded with Bromsgrove, so we found as a community employer, we wanted to do more to help our community. We have been involved with several different fundraising events over the years with Primrose Hospice. I’ve ran the London Marathon and we’ve sponsored several events including the Bumble Bimble Run, a board for their Lights of Love campaign and of course their Treecycle campaign.”

Bumble Hole Foods have a personal connection to Primrose Hospice as one of their team of employees was recently supported by Primrose Hospice before they sadly died.

“Primrose Hospice provided fantastic to them and their family. They supported them in the last few years of their life,

before they went to The Primrose Unit and without Primrose they wouldn’t have been able to do that. We know they loved coming to Primrose and they’ve been so supportive.”
