Take part in a unique experience and climb Mount Snowdon and reach the summit intime to watch the sunrise from the mountain slopes – a truly unforgettable moment!

Whether you take on the challenge with friends, family or colleagues, this challenge offers breath-taking views and the incredible feeling of reaching the summit together all whilst raising funds for Primrose Hospice.

Ascent: 3,199 feet / 975 metres
Time: Around 6 hours (there and back)

Route: Llanberis Path

If you are moderately fit, climbing Snowdon is definitely within your reach. Although Snowdon is one of the highest mountains in the UK and the tallest mountain in Wales, it is probably the friendliest for the novice walker to ascend.

Taking on this incredible challenge is about more than reaching the summit – it’s about making a real difference. By asking friends, family and colleagues to sponsor your challenge, you’ll be helping Primrose Hospice continue to provide vital care and support to people in our community when they need it most.

As 84% of our income comes from voluntary donations, we ask participants to aim to raise a minimum £250 in sponsorship as part of their challenge. Every donation truly matters.

Steve and his daughter took on our Snowdon at Sunrise challenge together in support of their wife and mum, who had been diagnosed with stage 4 terminal bowel and liver cancer.

Together they raised an incredible £2,420 for Primrose Hospice.
