Volunteer recognition from High Sheriff

Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre is proud to have 370 incredible volunteers who play a vital role in providing care and support to adults and children across North East Worcestershire. Some of these dedicated individuals have been giving their time to the hospice for over 30 years.

Charles Moyle JP, High Sheriff of Worcestershire, recently visited Primrose Hospice to award some of our volunteers in recognition of great and valuable services to the community.

The High Sheriff of Worcestershire said: “Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre is an extra special jewel in Worcestershire. There are few places delivering such compassionate, dignified and heartfelt care – both to those facing life-limiting illnesses and to those coming to terms with sudden and crushing loss. We are immensely fortunate to have the Primrose family support our families – I thank each and every volunteer and member of staff for all and everything they do.”

Jo Wright, Volunteers’ Manager at Primrose Hospice added: It was a privilege to recognise some of our incredible volunteers at Primrose Hospice with the High Sheriff Awards. Without all of our volunteers’ dedication, kindness, and selfless service, we couldn’t continue to offer all of the services that we do at Primrose Hospice.

The outstanding volunteers at Primrose Hospice are the heart of the community, offering their time, compassion, and dedication to support those in need. Receiving the High Sheriff Awards is a well-deserved recognition of their incredible efforts, and we are proud to celebrate their invaluable contributions.”

Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre would like to thank each and every volunteer who kindly gives their time to support them in their vital work.
