Primrose Hospice’s Treecycle Collection was back for its third year, with their volunteers out collecting the second weekend of January.

We collected over 1,000 Christmas Trees, raising a record-breaking £15,640 for Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre. Making not just an impact for Primrose Hospice but also helping to reduce global warming.

Most of our vans were all-electric and were kindly provided by local car retailer Hills Ford and the used Christmas trees were kindly chipped and recycled by TreeMendus Tree Services Ltd.

Hannah Isaac, Fundraiser at Primrose Hospice said: “I am absolutely thrilled with the success of this year’s Treecycle campaign. We raised more money and collected more trees than ever before, and it would not have been such a success without the tireless efforts of our wonderful volunteers and the support of our sponsors. Thank you to everybody who booked to have their tree collected by us; your donation really does make a huge difference. Let’s make next year’s even bigger and better!”

The donations raised through Primrose Hospice’s Treecycle collection will allow us to continue providing vital care and support for over 1,000 patients living with life-limiting illnesses and families facing bereavement.
