Community Celebrates Fundraising Success at The Primrose Memory Walk

On Sunday 7th July Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre welcomed over 160 supporters from the community for the hospice’s first Primrose Memory Walk, raising an incredible £14,560.

Participants took part in a warm-up before walking 5km around the beautiful grounds of Hanbury Hall. They were greeted at the finish line by a team from Thomas Brothers Funeral Directors who presented all the participants, including the dogs, with medals made from recycled paper incorporating wildflower seeds.

Kelly Wetherall, Fundraiser at Primrose Hospice said: “Our Memory Walk was such a beautiful day, and we were overwhelmed by the amount of people who attended our first Memory Walk. It was lovely to think that with every step they took, remembering their loved ones, they were making such a difference to the people we support.”
