Success at The Primrose Memory Walk

On Sunday 6th July 2025, Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre was delighted to welcome over 100 members of the local community to our second Primrose Memory Walk, raising a fantastic £10,017.

Supporters came together to walk a scenic 3-mile route through the stunning grounds of the National Trust’s Hanbury Hall. At the finish line, they were warmly greeted by the team from Thomas Brothers Funeral Directors, who presented every participant — including the four-legged ones — with special medals made from recycled paper embedded with wildflower seeds.

Kelly Wetherall, Fundraiser at Primrose Hospice said: “It was so lovely to see all ages taking part, honouring the memory of their loved ones. It may have rained a little, but it did nothing to dampen people’s spirits. Watching the sea of yellow meander through the grounds of Hanbury Hall was quite a sight.”

Primrose Hospice would like to say a huge thanks to Thomas Brothers Funeral Directors for sponsoring the event, to Hanbury Hall for their wonderful support, and to all the volunteers and supporters who support the hospice throughout the year.
