Singing from the heart

Singing can have a vast variety of benefits on both your physical and mental health, including relieving stress, improving lung function, developing a sense of connection and it can even improve snoring!

Did you know you could be part of The Primrose Choir, who perform at regular concerts throughout North East Worcestershire, all raising vital funds to support Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre?

Anita Clayton, member of The Primrose Choir and supporter said: “l joined the choir 12 years ago and I can honestly say it is the best thing I have ever done. I have made some lovely friends and look forward to meeting with the choir every Wednesday night. There is nothing like singing to help with your mental health and well-being. The camaraderie we have together is amazing. We all have one aim and that is to enjoy singing and raise much needed funds for Primrose Hospice.

The Choir meet every Wednesday evening (with breaks throughout the holidays) at Primrose Hospice to rehearse and socialise together, ready for their next concert. You don’t have to be the next Pavarotti to join, simply come along and sing together with the choir!

There is no audition involved, the choir welcome people of all ages and abilities to join them in supporting Primrose Hospice.

If you would like to join the choir or find out more, please contact Anita on 07737 317493.

Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre would like to thank all the choir members and organisers for all their hard work and dedication in supporting Primrose Hospice over the years.

As an independent charity, we rely on the support of individuals and businesses to help us raise the £1.95 million needed each year for us to provide our services free to our local community.
