Primrose Hospice Orchardfest is a raving success

On August 12th, Puddle Wharf Farm in Bromsgrove was a hive of excitement as around 1,000 people gathered for the famous Orchardfest, supporting Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre.

Over £36,325 was raised throughout the weekend, which could pay to run the hospice for 15.5 days, ensuring patients and families receive the support they need and deserve.

Primrose Hospice would like to thank Dave Morgan and everyone involved with organising and making Orchardfest 2024 happen.

The weekend sounded great as local bands took to the stage, captivating the crowd with live music, while various games and activities kept the whole family entertained.

David Burrell, Chief Executive Officer at Primrose Hospice said: “Orchardfest 2024 was a fantastic event. I am extremely grateful to all the volunteers who tirelessly supported the event, the musicians, performers and everyone who attended and enjoyed it whilst supporting Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre.

The money raised will make a significant difference to Primrose Hospice, allowing us to continue to support even more people in need. I’m deeply grateful for the generosity and commitment of everyone involved.”

This remarkable achievement is a testament to the generosity and dedication of everyone involved, from the organisers, bands and volunteers to the attendees who came together to make a difference. Orchardfest’s success is not just measured in pounds but in the hope and support it brings to countless families.

As an independent charity, we rely on the support of individuals and businesses to help them raise the £1.95 million needed each year for them to provide their services free to our local community.
