Primrose has a roaring good time raising over £18,000!

On Saturday 9th July Primrose Hospice held our annual ball at Sixways Stadium with this year’s theme being the Roaring 20’s. Supporters came out in force dressed up to the nines all to support Primrose Hospice and raise an incredible £18,110!

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the night including Mark Duncan one of Primrose Hospice’s Trustees who said: “A wonderful evening of fun and entertainment. Thank you to all involved in making it memorable.”

Party goers enjoyed our famous Primrose Prizes where they came away with fantastic prizes including tickets to West Midlands Safari Park, afternoon tea vouchers, spa getaways and even a giant teddy!

They were then entertained by 7th Street Soul a local band made up of Birmingham’s finest musicians,

headed by West End Diva Cat Davis!

Rebecca Stone, Primrose Hospice Fundraising Manager said: “This event is the big one for us, we are so pleased with the success of our Roaring 20’s Ball. A lot of planning goes into an event like this, and I would like to thank our committee and all our volunteers who were involved with making this event such a success. A huge thank you goes out to all our supporters who generously donated on the night and continue to support us.”

The money raised from this evening will help us to continue to provide our vital services for free to people living with life-limiting illnesses and families throughout North East Worcestershire.
