Pink Ribbon Foundation supports Primrose Hospice

At Primrose Hospice we are privileged to be awarded grants by various foundations, that help us to support our vital care and support for our community.

We have recently received a grant from the Pink Ribbon Foundation who are a grant making trust with a mission to fund projects and provide financial support to UK charities which relieve the needs of people who are suffering from, have been affected by breast cancer, or who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer and its early detection and treatment.

This grant of £2,500 will help to support our Wellbeing and Complementary Therapy services. These services offer people living with life-limiting illnesses, including breast cancer, vital care and support through sessions including;

  • Acupuncture
  • Aromatherapy
  • Massage
  • Relaxation
  • Group support
  • Art therapy
  • Yoga and Tai Chi
  • And much more.

One of our Complementary Therapy clients recently said:

“I’ve really enjoyed my time with Helen. I feel more relaxed and have learnt some coping strategies.”

This grant could help us to provide 11 patients or clients with 6 Complementary Therapy sessions. Helping to improve their wellbeing and relief some symptoms and side effects that may happen after receiving certain medical treatments.

Thank you to the Pink Ribbon Foundation for this grant which will help us to support more people in North East Worcestershire.
