New website now in full bloom
SPRING is in the air and the new Primrose Hospice website is now in full bloom with a fresh new look and easier navigation.
Primrose Hospice appointed Bromsgrove firm Gough Bailey Wright to create the new simple to use site which would allow patients, their families and fundraisers to find clear information quickly.
Primrosehospice.org not only features information on all the services it provides and how to access them but also a fundraising toolkit, inspiring stories, testimonials and the opportunity to easily donate online.
The site is also compatible with multiple platforms including mobile phone and tablets.
Anthea Hall, a volunteer for just under ten years, started as a driver and now runs crafts for hospice patients.
She believes the new look website will help new patients find out important information and take away some of the mystery around what to expect when they attend Primrose.
“Having been a driver and driven people to Primrose Hospice for their very first time they are sometimes totally unaware of what they are coming into.
“Some are quite openly frightened, some are very quiet.
“Often they are very mistaken and think it’s going to be depressing or a dreary place when Primrose Hospice is the complete opposite – it is full of happiness and life.
“The new website is going to help them get a better understanding of the hospice, they can see pictures of the staff who are looking all positive and learn more about what goes on here and what they do.
“It is a clearer website and easier to use. It gives them a better overall picture of just exactly what goes on at Primrose Hospice and what it is like.”
Staff at Primrose Hospice have worked closely with Gough Bailey Wright for several months to create the website.
Michelle Wright, Company Director at Gough Bailey Wright said: “Working together with such a well-respected, local hospice is something we are extremely proud of here at GBW, and we are delighted to have won the opportunity to design and develop Primrose Hospice’s brand new website.
“As well as a fresh new look and content that works across multiple platforms, the site now features an online ‘donate’ button to help bring in funds that are absolutely vital to the important work they do.”
The new website is the latest step the St Godwald’s Road-based hospice has taken to refresh its branding and give the charity an eye-catching fresh look.
David Burrell, CEO at Primrose Hospice, added: “This is an exciting step forward for Primrose Hospice to have a new, modern, vibrant website that can be displayed on tablets and phones.
“We have designed the site so that patients, their families and our community can easily find out about our service, how to access them and also to be kept up to date with our exciting calendar of events.
“The website also makes it much easier to support the hospice with individual or regular donations.”
