Meet our Magnificent Marathon Runners

On Sunday 23rd April around 50,000 runners will take to the streets of our capital city for the iconic London Marathon.

We would love to introduce you to five incredible individuals who are taking on the London Marathon and raising vital funds for Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre along the way. You can learn more about our runners and view their fundraising pages below…

Louie O’Shea

Louie from Evesham has been inspired by Hugh Brasher – the London Marathon official Event Director and son of the co-founder of the London Marathon. He is now taking on the London Marathon for his local hospice. Louie said: “Hearing families say “I couldn’t do without Primrose”, is what motivates me to push myself to help people less fortunate than me. It feels very special knowing I am helping family and friends if they ever need the support.”

Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre offer care and advice to patients living with a life-limiting illness. They also support families who have experienced a bereavement or who have a family member living with a life limiting illness in the North East Worcestershire area.

As an independent charity, they rely on the support of individuals and businesses to help them to raise the £1.95 million needed each year for them to provide our services free to our local community.
