Headless Cross charity shop to reopen to customers
Primrose Hospice is excited to announce that it is planning to reopen its Headless Cross store on Saturday, July 4.
And there will be a donation evening at the store on Friday, July 3 between 5pm and 8pm to help relieve people of all the items they’ve bagged up for charity shops during lockdown
Staff have been busy making sure measures are in place to keep customers and volunteers safe as it prepares to welcome back shoppers.
Doors will be opened at the Headless Cross branch at 10am with plans to trade on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
There will be changes in the way we operate with customers asked to stick to social distancing as well as other Government rules.
To make sure the shop is safe for everyone to use, the store has implemented the following:
Primrose Hospice’s other charity shops in Redditch, Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Rubery will remain temporarily closed.
The Headless Cross shop will also be able to accept donation on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays only.
We are also pleased to announce that we can start accepting donations but can only take certain good quality items.
We can only accept bagged clothing, shoes and handbags as well as boxed bric-a-brac, books, DVDs, CDs and console games.
Unfortunately, we are not accepting furniture at present and will not be able to return bags or boxes to customers.
People can drop off donations to the Headless Cross shop on Friday, July 3 between 5pm and 8pm.
