Arrow Valley Park Turns Red for Primrose Hospice

Arrow Valley Park was transformed into a festive wonderland on Sunday 7th December, as 366 Santa’s laced up their trainers for the annual Primrose Hospice Santa Fun Run.

This year raised an incredible £15,843! These funds will help Primrose Hospice continue delivering free, essential care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses and families coping with bereavement throughout 2026.

Jack Taft, Fundraiser at Primrose Hospice, said: “Santa Fun Run once again proved to be an extremely popular event this year with a big turnout! Over 350 fun runners turned out to create a great spectacle, raising vital funds for our Hospice, which is focused on providing support to patients and their families struggling from the impact of life-limiting illness.

On event day, the addition of the “Someone At The Door” Samba Band and our Santa Sacks proved extremely popular, adding to the incredible atmosphere. And we promise new features will be in the works to keep Santa Fun Run fresh and full of surprises to keep participants coming back for more!”

Adding to the fun, Santa himself made an appearance, joined by his Snowman helpers from Redditch Round Table and Redditch Stars Running Club, who volunteered as marshals and hosted a cake stall to raise even more for Primrose.

Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre would like to thank to everyone who made this event possible, including all their volunteers and the sponsors John Truslove Chartered Surveyors and Valuers.

Events like the Santa Fun Run are vital in helping Primrose raise the £1.95 million needed each year to provide essential Clinical and Family Support services free of charge, all year round.

If you missed the Santa Fun Run, there are still plenty of ways to support Primrose throughout the year, including their upcoming Treecycle campaign. Find out more here.
