25 years of support for Primrose Hospice’s Redditch Shop
They celebrated by beautifully decorating their window to mark the occasion. The volunteer who has the vital role of dressing the window display is June Wormington who has volunteered her creative skills since the Redditch shop opened 25 years ago! She has since taken on the role of dressing the shop window in Primrose Hospice’s newest shop in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.
June, Primrose Hospice Volunteer said: “It’s a privilege to be given the opportunity to use my creative skills to give something back to Primrose by doing their shop windows. If someone leaves our shops with a smile on their face we know we’ve done something right and hopefully they will come back to visit us again!”
Primrose Hospice heavily relies on over 400 volunteers to help them keep their support services running all year round for people that need them the most. Their shop volunteers are an itegral part of the team who all give their time freely to help with things like serving customers, sorting donations and dressing shop windows.
If you could spare some time to volunteer for Primrose Hospice why not pop in today? You can find out more about their shops and volunteering on their website here: https://primrosehospice.org/support-us/volunteering/current-vacancies/ or by calling 01527 871051.
Thank you to all the volunteers, customers and supporters who have given their time and donations over the years.
