Primrose Hospice runs a number of support groups for patients and their families. They are a chance to meet people going through the same experiences and share advice, support as well as enjoy great company. They are facilitated by professionals from Primrose Hospice.
Men’s Cancer Support Group
Primrose Hospice’s Men’s Cancer Support Group meets every Thursday from 10am to 12pm. It is a chance to meet other men going through similar situations. Members are given the opportunity to to talk about whatever they like and spend time with others who understand what they are going through.
It is facilitated by a qualified male counsellor and the aim is to keep things as informal as possible. No appointment necessary, just turn up and ask for Steve.

Whether it is a trip to the cinema or an afternoon of pampering, the Gals’ Group often enjoys days out and activities. The group is there to offer support as well as a cuppa and a chat. They meet on the last Thursday of the month from 10.30am to 12.30pm in the Garden Room at Coppice Centre. The group is facilitated by Volunteers Manager Jo Wright.
Led by a staff nurse and members of the Family Support Team, the carers group meets several times a year.
