History of the hospice

Primrose Hospice has been providing care and support to patients in North East Worcestershire since 1987. The original hospice opened at Hill Top in 1987 before moving to the current location in St Godwalds Road in 1991.

There have been some major additions to the original building over the years. In 2003, an extension was built to house the day hospice and improve the clinical space, then in 2010 the Coppice Centre was built to provide a separate Family Support service. Finally, Garden Room was opened in 2015.

We love to capture the history of Primrose Hospice. If you have ever worked or volunteered here or accessed our services and can add to the wonderful stories about Primrose Hospice, we would love to hear from you.
