Primrose Hospice takes to the racing track

UK Formula Vee Championship racing car driver James Cater from Bromsgrove, is showing his support to his local hospice by fundraising and branding his 1300cc highly tuned single seater racing car with the Primrose logo which will help raise awareness of the hospice and will in turn hopefully raise future support.

The UK Formula Vee Championship is organized by the 750 Motor Club and is the largest race organisers in the UK and this year they are celebrating their 50th anniversary.

James has various fixtures coming up over 2017 where the new Primrose car will be showcased and will help raise the profile of the hospice.

James has chosen to support the Primrose as family and friends have accessed the services provided by the hospice and would like to give something back and say thank you for the support his loved ones have received.

Emma Williams, Fundraising Manager – Community Engagement comments “We are excited about this partnership with James Cater and Racing Team Vee. It is another way of us promoting what we do here at the hospice and to have our branding on a racing car is just something that little bit different and of course fun. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity and we look forward to following the race schedule and seeing how James gets on”
